Training
CLS was originally formed in 1997 with its primary function being the supply of rig/derrick building personnel to the Oil & Gas Industry worldwide. Initially the company's first projects were undertaken in the Caspian region. Upon completion CLS returned to the UK and added the additional services of engineering, fabrication and offshore construction to its existing portfolio.CLS has progressed steadily since its inception, and the combination of steady growth and by maintaining a safety record which is second to none has enabled the business to gain contracts from major exploration, production, construction and drilling contractors.
In 2006 after a successful audit CLS became a full operating member of the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and now supplies an extensive range of rope access services employing highly skilled personnel of all trades.
To compliment CLS's successful rope access department a working at height and rope access training facility was opened in September 2009. This training facility was formed to provide the oil and gas industry with a permanent centre based in Great Yarmouth offering full time structured training in rope access and working at height techniques. This gives trainees the oppertunity to train with a fully operational service company.
