CLS Offshore Ltd recognise there is a duty, so far as it is reasonably practicable,
to safeguard the health, safety and welfare at work of all employees.
CLS accepts this duty and responsibility as an employer and is aware of its obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated legislation.

CLS is committed to promoting high standards on health, safety and the protection of the environment in the execution of its activities and these include the following guiding principles.

The prevention of injuries to employees and sub contractors and damage to property.
The execution of work activities with due consideration for health, safety and the environment.
Encouraging and maintaining the interest and support of all its employees in matters of health and safety at work.
The progressive improvement of the company's health and safety performance.
Regular review of the policy, dependent upon legislation and regulation, increased scope of activity with regard to health and safety, or incorporation of established best practice.
The adoption of the company maxim, "Safety is our first consideration".

CLS is involved in the world of engineering, fabrication, maintenance and training activities, with management objectives of high ideals. CLS are committed to achieving high levels of health and safety control and have established Health and Safety Management Systems, to reduce and control health and safety risks under the principle of respect to human life.

The CLS HSE Management Systems are designed and implemented to protect CLS employees and sub-contractors from unacceptable HSE risks and also to safeguard the health and safety of persons not employed by CLS, but who could be affected by the company's activities.

CLS recognise the important role that all employees can achieve in contributing to the overall effort in reducing occupational accidents and illnesses at work and assist in achieving high standards of health and safety management.

CLS also encourage employees to consider safety all times outside of work and in pursuit of leisure activities
